S002 Infinity Arch COBALT
-
A hand-formed 8mm glass tube, bent from one continuous length and pumped with helium, emits a bright white-pink light. The arch is suspended in a vitrine constructed from cobalt Italian acrylic, so the illumination reads through the colored volume. Viewable on all sides, the piece shifts depending on the viewer’s position, as the acrylic modulates the light.
This work references Nashville visual language, particularly Ferdinando Scarfiotti’s production design for Toys (1992), translating playful scenographic color and shape into a single architectural gesture. -
This work may be commissioned in alternate configurations, including acrylic color and thickness, tube color, phosphorous coating, and tube diameter. These variables materially affect the object’s color, brightness, and tonal character to suit any room.
